This is the foundation for everything that follows in PhDJ, ensuring everyone enters the program with the same core technical understanding—regardless of where they're starting.

Bootcamp is an intensive month of guided learning + practice focused 100% on technical skills.
This is where students begin mixing regularly, receive their first rounds of feedback, and build the confidence they'll carry into the core curriculum.
Through live coaching, assignments, and feedback, you’ll learn the essential skills every DJ needs and start integrating it into assignments + live mixes.
You will:

Our four-day, in-person Immersion is where everything you've been learning comes to life. Together, we'll explore what happens when we put the principles of PhDJ into practice—strengthening our creativity, leadership, connection, movement, and play in a fully embodied environment.
This is an opportunity to meet your colleagues and experience firsthand why and how this work transforms people.
You’ll deepen your connection to yourself, your fellow PhDJs, and confidence as both a DJ and a leader.
During Immersion, you'll:

What's included?
The Immersion experience itself is included in your tuition. Room, board, and travel are booked separately through our retreat venue.
If you're unable to attend in person, you'll receive recordings of the DJ sets and talkback sessions so you can continue learning remotely.
